The lawn itch began at age 12 when I started to mow lawns and it continued into high school. This along with my love of golf made a great combination for wanting to be outdoors.
I've always been active as a person so to feed this desire I went to college for golf course superintendent and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Turfgrass Management.
I started my career as the Golf Course Superintendent at the St. Cloud Country Club along with doing fertilizing and landscaping for club members on the side, with some of the golf course college kids at night.
In 2000 I took the opportunity to purchase my friend's dad's business called Grow Rite which had about 50-75 customers. We service the Minnesota communities of Litchfield, Willmar, Hutchinson, Annandale and Spicer along with anyone in a 30 mile radius. Today we service 100's of customers.
I enjoy being active in my community. I've served on the board of the town parade/festival. I've sponsored local golf, baseball, football. hockey kids & school activities. I donate services to school and community fields and grass areas. I love being with family, friends and clients along with enjoying the outdoors, hunting, fishing, biking & golfing.
